Join Us for the 11th Annual Storytelling Contest: The Purr Storytelling Hour
The UCCS Kraemer Family Library and Storytelling Professor Dr. ‘Ilaheva Tua’one invite you to share your story at this year’s storytelling contest.
This year’s theme will be RESISTANCE, and we would love to hear your memorable RESISTANCE stories. Each story will be performed live in front of an eager audience that will choose three winners! Cash prizes will be awarded!
We’re also excited to partner with UCCS Theatre & Dance to offer a special storytelling workshop led by Alex Harvey from The ReMemberers—a great opportunity to refine your story before the big night.
Date & Time: Thursday, October 16th, 6:00 - 8:00 PM
(Beverage & Hors d’oeuvres at 5pm)
Location: KFL 2nd Floor Library Apse
Prizes: 1st place $200, 2nd $150 3rd $100
