Submit your Six-Word Story for Spooky Season

Six word scary stories
It’s that time of the year - Spook us in six words! The Kraemer Family Library invites you all UCCS community members to craft a chilling six-word story. Five entries will be randomly selected to win a KFL mug!

What is a six-word story? Here are a few examples from previous challenges:
The last text read: behind you! – Jean-Paul Laurenceau
Every password changes, but he remains.- Patrick Brady
I don't remember unlocking my door... – Liliana Peck
  • You can submit works under your own name or anonymously.
  • Stories should be appropriate for a college audience. Each submission will be reviewed for appropriateness. Stories that include vulgarity or profanity, or are political in nature, will not be accepted.
  • Multiple entries are welcome! However, depending on the submission volume, we may not publish all stories submitted by the same individual.
