Alumni Services

Get Your Alumni Library Card

All UCCS alumni can get an alumni library card to continue to check out books, movies, and other library items. You can even still request items through Prospector so you still have access to getting items from other libraries in Colorado!

Simply present a photo ID at the Library's Circulation Desk. We'll verify your alumni status and give you a new card.

Accessing Online Library Resources

Due to licensing restrictions, alumni do not have access to the majority of the Library’s eBooks, online journals, and databases from off campus. However, the Library subscribes to a collection of databases that do permit alumni access off campus. These databases are available to alumni who graduated in 2015 or after. (Alumni who graduated prior to 2015 do not have an active UCCS account.)

Alumni Access database list

You can access these resources at our Alumni Access database list. Simply log in to your UCCS Alumni account when prompted when accessing these resources off campus. If you need your account info, please contact the UCCS Office of Information Technology.

Additionally, anyone can physically come into the Library to access any of our subscription resources, including those which do not permit off campus access for alumni. There are computers designed as Public Access computer stations. These computers do not require a login and can access most of the electronic resources available to UCCS affiliates.

Keep Your Refworks Account

You can still access your Refworks account like you always do Just remember you cannot access the Library's eBooks, online journals and databases from off campus. Any PDFs you uploaded into your Refworks will still be accessible to you.
