Visitor Information
Members of the public can use the Kraemer Family Library.
Borrowing Items from the Library
Any local resident with a Colorado Library Card (Colorado public library/school card), such as a Pikes Peak Library card, may check out books, movies and more from the Kraemer Family Library. You are limited to five items out at a time and books can be loaned for a three week period and movies for a one week period.
Contact the Library Assistance Desk for any questions about checking items out in the Library.
Computer Access
Due to licensing restrictions, community members and visitors cannot access the Library's electronic resources off campus. However, anyone can physically come into the Library to access these resources. There are computers designed as Public Access computer stations. These computers do not require a login and can access most of the electronic resources available to UCCS affiliates. Public Access computers are located by the Research Assistance Desk and on the third floor at the top of the main staircase.
NOTE: During periods of heavy usage, the Public Access computers have a time usage restriction. See the Library's computer use policy for more information.
Printing
The Public Access computers are set to print to a Pay as You Print station next to the copy machines. To use the Pay as You Print printer, you will have to purchase a Copy Card; it does not accept coins. Learn more about scanning and printing in the library.
NOTE: Parking permits are NOT required on weekend, between semesters and holidays where classes are not in session.
