May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. This celebrates the contributions of a large number of Americans with roots in all of the Asian continent and the Pacific islands of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia. The display highlights materials from the collection about the history, politics, and literature of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States.
