Join us this Thursday, October 10, from 3:10 to 4:20 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Library Apse for an author reading with poet Juan J. Morales!

Juan J. Morales was born in the U.S. to an Ecuadorian mother and a Puerto Rican father. He grew up in Colorado hearing family stories that inspired much of his first book of poetry, Friday and the Year that Followed (2006). He is the author of two other poetry collections, including The Siren World and his latest, the Handyman’s Guide to End Times. His poetry has also recently appeared on Colorado Public Radio, CSPAN 2, Copper Nickel, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Pleiades, Poetry Daily, Verse Daily, and others. He is also a CantoMundo Fellow, a Macondista, the Editor/Publisher of Pilgrimage, and the Department Chair of English & World Languages at Colorado State University-Pueblo. On Twitter @ChairmanJuan.
