Would you like to earn a $5 UCCS Dining Services gift card and a chance to win a $50 gift card for the UCCS Bookstore? Participate in an online usability study for the Kraemer Family Library this fall!
What is the study? This usability study will test how students access electronic books through the Kraemer Family Library. Participants will complete five tasks online using a computer equipped with the Google Chrome web browser, a microphone, and internet access. Participants also must agree to have their screen and audio recorded during the study and be willing to use talk aloud protocol as they complete the tasks, which means they will need to verbally describe the steps they take to complete each task. The study itself will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
When will the study take place? The online usability study will take place during the first two weeks of November (November 1 - 16). Participants will need to pick up their $5 gift cards at the Kraemer Family Library during the second half of November. The random drawing for the $50 UCCS Bookstore gift card will also take place during the second half of November.
How do I participate in the study? To participate in the online usability study, you must be a current undergraduate student at UCCS and have access to a computer equipped with Google Chrome, internet access, and a microphone. If you are interested in participating, please complete the Participant Interest Form. Submissions will be screened by the study researchers and you will be contacted by mid-October regarding whether you have been selected as a study participant.
