Six-Word Scary Stories

KFL Six-Word Scary Stories Challenge is a recurring online storytelling program hosted by the Kraemer Family Library that highlights creative expression within the UCCS community. The program centers on six-word scary stories, a form of flash fiction that uses exactly six words to evoke fear, suspense, or unease through implication rather than explicit detail. This archive preserves past submissions and celebrates the imagination and creativity of UCCS participants across each iteration of the challenge.
