Seeking Submissions for the Club Q Memorial Project

club q memorial project graphicThe Kraemer Family Library, and M.O.S.A.I.C. and LGBTQ+ Resource Center are collaborating in the search for an artistic memorial to place on the UCCS campus for the Club Q Shooting that rocked queer communities here and around the world on the night of November 19th-20th, 2022. There will be two pieces in total, one showcased in the Kraemer Family Library (KFL), and a partner piece displayed across from MOSAIC. The search is for two artists to complete this two-part exhibit, where artists can submit proposals for the memorial if they want their art to be considered. Artists will be paid for their art if it is selected as one of the piece(s) for this memorial!

The Kraemer Family Library and M.O.S.A.I.C. want to focus on student art in this project, but please know that submission requirements do not limit to only students. Proposal submissions will be due by 11:59pm (MST) on Monday, Dec. 4th, 2023.

If you are interested in submitting art for this project, or simply want to know more about it, please visit the main website for this project here. Please help us spread the word by forwarding this message to your personal and professional circles! 🏳️‍🌈🎨🌈
