Six Word Scary Stories Challenge 2023
Six Word Scary Stories Challenge 2023
It’s that time of the year! The Kraemer Family Library invites you to write your own six word story that will frighten, spook, or scare your fellow UCCS community members! Your stories will be displayed on the library's digital signage from October 31st through the month of November.
Three entries will be randomly selected to win a KFL mug!
What is a Six Word story? Here are a few stories from the previous challenge:
The video played I saw myself. -Anonymous
Forgot to wear pants to school -Abby Holmstoen
Do not look behind you tonight -Natalie Kakarian
Please submit your original six-word scary story by October 27, 2023.
You can submit works under your own name or anonymously.
Stories should be appropriate for a college audience. Each submission will be reviewed for appropriateness and stories that include vulgarity or profanity, or that are political in nature, will not be printed.
You are welcome to submit multiple entries. However, depending on the submission volume, we may not publish all stories submitted by the same individual.
The Kraemer Family Library is partnering up with Dining and Hospitality Services to publish your Six Word Scary Stories! All stories will be printed on coffee sleeves used at all coffee shops across campus.
If you have any questions regarding the program please contact Riho Sakai at rsakai@uccs.edu.
