The Kraemer Family Library is partnering with the UCCS Coffee Shops to share six-word scary stories authored by members of the UCCS community. Stories will be printed on coffee cup sleeves and distributed at the end of October and throughout the month of November.

The theme this year is Ghouls, Ghosts, & Gremlins. See if you can write a six-word story about ghouls, ghosts, or gremlins that will frighten, spook, or otherwise scare your fellow UCCS coffee drinkers.

What is a six-word story? Click here for examples: http://www.sixwordstories.net/

Please submit your original six-word scary story by October 11, 2019.

You can submit works under your own name or anonymously.

Stories should be appropriate for a college audience. Each submission will be reviewed for appropriateness and stories that include vulgarity or profanity, or that are political in nature, will not be printed.

You are welcome to submit multiple entries. However, depending on the submission volume, we may not publish all stories submitted by the same individual.

If you have any questions regarding the program please contact Lindsay Coppa (lcoppa@uccs.edu).
